Just a rant inspired by someone I happened to run into one day, . Her words really moved me and so I decided to get a few words off my chest as well.


1- Your stupid OC’s/Mary Sue’s/Gary Sue’s (For different reasons)

After every game you play, after every book you read, after every movie you watch, you just absolutely MUST make up a character for it or it will just ‘not be as interesting anymore!’

You act like there aren’t enough canon characters to pick from, so you just HAVE to create something 10 times better than yourself to catch the canon characters and an audience’s attention!

It’s rare, but very few come up with decent, well thought out characters and good excuses as to why they are there. But for the most part, they suck and are all the same! If I see one more cutesy girl with flower berets and cat ears or another busty blonde bimbo with heels too high to walk in, I’m going to puke until I bleed!!

As for you guys, STOP WITH THE WOLVES AND THE ANGEL WINGS AND THE’ I’M A LONER SO I GET TO ACT ALL EMO ACT!!!!’ Pa-leez!! My 6 year old cousin works on better characters than that!!

I admit. I was once someone with silly made up characters with a bit of flimsy romance added to them, but I’m SO over it! I never realized how boring it all was until I compared my more sensible fanfics to the newer ones I had made.

Why make up a perfect character? Why create something you always wanted to be when you can just be you?

Trust me. It’s so much easier on the eyes.

2- Your STUPID obsession with yaoi!

Ok, so now you’re sitting there thinking-

“Oh, this girl is a homophobe! Oh dear! She’s an awful horrible person just because she doesn’t like yaoi! Ai! Ai!!!”

Um..no! I am in no way a homophobe. I have many gay/lesbian friends. In fact, they are my BEST friends. My straight friends have all gotten married and gone away, but that’s beside the point!

You read a manga or watch an anime, EVEN do something so simple as to read a book even if it is 5 pages, see like 2 guy characters you like but FEAR the concept of writing or drawing them with the girlfriends they probably all ready have! SIMPLY because being ‘straight’ is over-rated.

……..What?? I’m sorry. Could you say that again. I think I may have had like a wedge in my ear. OVER-RATED??? Have you SEEN the amount of yaoi on the GD web!!?? It’s all I see now! I can’t tell you how many people have come up to me telling me that writing yaoi is “So different!” and that “No one expects it!” or “Nobody would have ever thought of it!”

Darlings. Children. YOU ARE DOING WHAT EVERYONE ELSE IS DOING!” You say that its different, its not. You say no one expects it. Yeah, elementary students! Nobody thinks of it? Have you ever heard the phrase “Whatever you’re thinking, someone’s doing?”

Of course it’s mainly little 12-16 year olds who are probably virgins, and have no boyfriends, and are soooo infatuated with the male body that it just fascinates them to see two males together. Please! Grow up! You make yourself look so undeserving.

“Yeah, lets write about two men raping each other in the classroom, then masturbate to it later!”

It’s PATHETIC!!!

If you didn’t like anything written above, just take it like a man and then take it up the ass. It’s what you like after all!

3- You make all the smart guys look like girls!!

If you people say you hate yuri, why the HELL do you like men whom no one can tell whether it’s male or female?? Frankly, I’d be scared! So would the pretty boys who don’t like being referred to as gay like the next guy.

I have to say though; the number of Intelligent-Man-Gone-Girly has increased since the beginning of HP. Even poor ‘human’ Donatello of the TMNT is under pressure from it!

You hate stereotypes, yet you create them!! Every male who has more brains than brawn “Must be sooooooo feminine!!” “Oh, he doesn’t need a girl, he IS the girl!” “Oh, if he were human he would have such long wavy locks of hair and…”

In short, not every smart guy looks good, much less, girly. Just as pretty boys are not all gay!

4- You maul the stores!!

I happened to go to the mall the other day with my two little sisters to buy some new books. It just so happened we had some money left to buy a little something of TMNT. Previously, I had bought a Raphael set, but only for the bandana. That’s it!

At the moment though, my little sister wanted a Mikey toy so she went up to the counter to buy it. The guy up front looked at my sisters and I if ‘we’ were the ones who mauled the shelves of ANYTHING Donatello. (Poor guy)

She told him I had been the only one to buy anything and that it was of Raphael.

The guy says, “Oh, I figured that was the Raph girl. Only one person bought anything of him the other day. But afterwards, anything Donatello was completely gone.”

Luckily my poor middle sister bought the last one with our spare change, but I don’t think what the man described about this pack of fangirls was at all normal.

Being a cool and loyal fan is fine, but going overboard-----scares people!!

When traveling in a pack, please approach merchandise slowly!!

5- Quit claiming every character you see!!!

Stop flaming other DevArt artists about their drawings of your favorite male character!! Whatever anyone draws, whether it is Snape, InuYasha, or Yoshi, some immature idiot has to come along, flame his or her work saying, “You can’t have him!!! He’s MINE!!!!! >< XO”
Or, they favorite your work, compliment the guy, then leave a comment in the final sentence saying “But he’s still mine!! ^_^”

Aren’t we old enough to stop acting like repugnant first graders?? IT IS A DRAWING!!!! GET THE HELL OVER IT!!!! Just compliment the nice person for drawing your idol, favorite it if you like it that much, then shutup!!

They may like you better and respect you comments. Maybe even treat you like a grown-up like you’ve always dreamed of!! You might even make a friend! I don’t know. JUST STOP BEING SO POSSESSIVE!!!!

6- This is for you stuck up fangirls!!

You think that just because your character is in love with Yami Yugi or because you think you know SO MUCH about whatever anime you like gives you the right to be an absolute BITCH to anyone who crosses your path!! You look down on them. You feel your opinions and thoughts on the world are above anything under the sun.

Why is it that the talented jerk offs like you get so much more credit than the good artists who actually deserve it??

You think you’re so high and mighty because everyone adores your art, your OC’s, or your fics (maybe your GD yaoi!) You feel your ways of thinking matter most to the world like people YEARN to hear your wisdom or whatever BS comes out of your mouth!! GET THE HELL OVER YOURSELVES!!!

Drop your paints and pens and educate yourself! You are actually more ignorant and narrow-minded than you think!!

7- You’re not cute!

By this, I do not mean physically. I don’t care whether or not you are so don’t send me a picture and flatter yourself.

How old are most of us on here? Like 16-32 years old?

STOP DRAWING YOURSELF AND A BOYFRIEND FIGURE (for example; Vegeta) IN CHIBI FORM WITH YOU TYING HIS HAIR UP IN PINK RIBBONS, PUTTING MAKEUP ON HIS FACE, AND THEN POKING HIM UNTIL HE BLEEDS!!!!

I am SO tired of searching for pictures on this site and finding that more than half of the fanart contains pokage, ribbons, and lipstick all over some poor guys face!
